Meet Johnny Hisey, M.A.

Johnny moved to Wenatchee in 1980, when his father began working for the Eye and Ear Clinic. John Sr. opened Micron Audiology Inc. in 1983, moving the practice to its current location in 1997. Johnny was fortunate to grow up knowing what he wanted to do. He saw how much his dad enjoyed helping people and dreamed of one day joining him as an audiologist. Both he and his father graduated from Western Washington University with their Master’s degrees in Audiology and even shared a few of the same professors. Johnny began working alongside his father in September of 2002. Of this experience he says, “I feel fortunate to work alongside my dad and to have him as my mentor. We complement each other’s skill sets and are much stronger as a team than as individuals.”

Johnny enjoys helping people of all ages improve their hearing, from children on up to patients 100+ years old. He also has a special place in his heart for local veterans who suffer from hearing loss, the number one disability in the military. “I do whatever I can to keep veterans’ hearing aids running smoothly, from cleaning their aids to reprograming their existing devices to work better in their environment.”

When not at work, Johnny loves spending time with his daughters, Seleah and Gianna. Other personal interests include water skiing, snow skiing and mountain biking. Johnny enjoys living in Wenatchee and feels it is one of the best communities to raise a family. He looks forward to meeting you and your family and improving your quality of life through better hearing.
